Save the DATE: On Saturday, September 10, 2011 a barbecue will be held on the Burlington Common from 4 to 6 p.m. to raise money for Burlington’s People Helping People.
All food and live entertainment for this fundraiser are being donated by the restaurant chain b.good, which will open its eighth location at 68 Mall Road in Burlington in the fall. The menu for this event will include hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, and salad. Milkshakes and fruit shakes will be made to order on b.good’s traveling shake truck.
Tickets are $5 per person and cover the cost of all food, beverages and entertainment. Tickets will be sold at the event. In case of rain, the barbecue will be held at the Burlington Senior Center, 61 Center Street, Burlington.
Featuring the slogan “real.food.fast,” b.good redefines fast food by offering fresh, organic meals, which feature locally grown produce. Menu items are made by hand, not by factories. For more information about b.good, including restaurant and catering menus, visit www.bgood.com
